This professionally tested and refurbished Juniper QFX5100-48S-AFO is a compact 1U top-of-rack data center switch delivering 48 SFP/SFP+ ports at up to 10GbE and 6 QSFP+ ports at 40GbE, with front-to-back (AFO) airflow, redundant fans, and redundant AC power supplies. Every unit is reset to factory defaults and ships fully inspected through WhaleyComm's ISO 9001-certified process.Built on Juniper's high-performance QFX5100 architecture, the QFX5100-48S-AFO delivers an aggregate throughput of 1.44 Tbps and a forwarding rate of 1.08 Bpps, with latency as low as 550 nanoseconds. The control plane runs on a 1.5 GHz dual-core Intel CPU with 8 GB of memory and 32 GB SSD storage. Each of the six 40GbE QSFP+ ports can be broken out into four 10GbE ports via splitter cables, expanding total 10GbE density to 72 ports. The switch runs Junos OS and supports EVPN-VXLAN, BGP, MPLS, FCoE, Virtual Chassis, and Topology-Independent In-Service Software Upgrades (TISSU), making it purpose-built for demanding spine-and-leaf and top-of-rack deployments.
