Delivering up to 370W of PoE+ budget across its 24 x 1G access ports, this switch powers IP phones, wireless access points, cameras, and other PoE-enabled devices without requiring separate power injectors. Four additional 1G SFP uplink ports provide flexible fiber or copper connectivity to your core or distribution layer.As a cloud-managed switch, the MS125-24P is configured and monitored entirely through the Cisco Meraki Dashboard — there is no traditional CLI management. This enables zero-touch provisioning, real-time network visibility, and centralized policy management across all your sites from a single pane of glass. Please note: an active Cisco Meraki Dashboard cloud license is required for this switch to function. The license is not included and must be purchased separately.

Without a valid license, the switch will not pass traffic or be manageable. The license is not included with this unit and must be purchased separately from Cisco or an authorized Meraki reseller. This is sufficient to power Meraki MR wireless access points, IP phones, IP security cameras, and other 802.3at-compliant devices without the need for external power injectors.
The MS125-24P can physically interconnect with non-Meraki switches via standard Ethernet or SFP uplinks for data forwarding purposes. However, management and configuration of the MS125-24P itself is exclusively performed through the Cisco Meraki Dashboard and is not compatible with third-party network management systems or traditional CLI tools such as Cisco IOS.
