This refurbished Arista DCS-7050TX-64-R is a 1U fixed-configuration data center switch delivering 48 ports of auto-negotiating 100Mb/1Gb/10GBASE-T copper connectivity via RJ45 and 4 ports of 40GbE via QSFP+. Airflow runs rear-to-front, aligning with hot-aisle containment data center designs, and the unit ships with dual hot-swappable AC power supplies in a 1+1 redundant configuration. Every unit has been professionally tested, reset to factory defaults, and inspected to WhaleyComm's ISO 9001-certified quality standard.The DCS-7050TX-64-R is a member of the Arista 7050X Series — purpose-built 10/40GbE data center switches designed for wire-speed Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding with low latency and advanced software-defined networking capabilities. The switch delivers 1.28 Tbps of switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 960 Mpps, with cut-through latency of under 3 microseconds. A 12 MB shared packet buffer uses Dynamic Buffer Allocation to assign memory dynamically to congested ports, reducing packet loss under burst traffic conditions. Powered by Arista EOS, the platform supports VXLAN, EVPN, MLAG, BGP, OSPF, ECMP, and Zero Touch Provisioning out of the box.
