This refurbished Cisco ASR-9001 is a compact, high-capacity Provider Edge router delivering 120 Gbps of nonblocking, full-duplex fabric capacity in a 2RU form factor. The chassis ships with four integrated 10GE SFP+ ports, two modular bays for additional MPAs, a GPS input for stratum-1 clocking, BITS ports, and management interfaces — all professionally tested and reset to factory defaults before shipment from WhaleyComm.The ASR-9001 is built on the same forwarding engine and switch fabric complex as the broader ASR 9000 series, running Cisco IOS XR — a self-healing, distributed operating system engineered for continuous operation. The integrated Route Switch Processor (RSP) carries 8 GB of RAM and supports IP/MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, IPv4, IPv6, Hierarchical QoS, MPLS TE-FRR, Synchronous Ethernet, MC-LAG, Nonstop Forwarding (NSF), and Nonstop Routing (NSR), giving service providers a fully featured edge platform in a space-efficient chassis.
