The MPC4E-3D-2CGE-8XGE is supported on the MX240, MX480, and MX960 routers. These chassis must be equipped with high-capacity power supplies and high-capacity fan trays for proper operation. The card is not supported on smaller MX platforms such as the MX5, MX10, or MX80.
