This refurbished Juniper MIC-MRATE is a 12-port Multi-Rate Modular Interface Card (MIC) designed for Juniper MX Series routers. Professionally tested and reset to factory defaults, this unit delivers the port-level rate-selectability and high-density QSFP+ connectivity that service providers and large enterprise networks depend on. With 12 QSFP+ ports — 8 of which support QSFP28 for 100-Gigabit Ethernet — the MIC-MRATE supports 10G, 40G, and 100G speeds within a single card, protecting infrastructure investment across multi-generational network builds.The MIC-MRATE installs into compatible MPCs on MX2000-series routers and supports per-port rate selectability, making it one of the most flexible MICs in the MX ecosystem. Breakout cable support allows each port to be split into four independent 10-Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, delivering a maximum of 48 10GbE logical interfaces from a single MIC. The MIC is natively supported on MPC6E, MPC8E, and MPC9E without an adapter card, and supported on other MPC generations via an adapter card.
