This refurbished Cisco ASR1002X-36G-K9 is a 2-rack-unit Aggregation Services Router from the Cisco ASR 1000 Series, professionally tested and reset to factory defaults before shipment. Built around the ASR 1002-X platform, this unit ships with six built-in SFP Gigabit Ethernet ports, three half-height SPA expansion slots, and an integrated route processor, embedded services processor, and SPA interface processor — all in a compact small form factor chassis. It runs Cisco IOS XE Software and supports software redundancy without the need for redundant hardware.The ASR1002X-36G-K9 delivers a licensed system throughput of 36 Gbps via its integrated Embedded Services Processor, which is built on Cisco QuantumFlow Processor technology. The ESP forwarding bandwidth is software-upgradeable, starting at 5 Gbps default and scalable through license to 10 Gbps, 20 Gbps, or 36 Gbps — no hardware swap required. Hardware-based encryption provides 4 Gbps of cryptography bandwidth. The integrated route processor ships with 4 GB DRAM (field-upgradeable to 8 GB or 16 GB) and 8 GB eUSB bulk storage. The power supplies are hot-pluggable, field-replaceable units supporting 1+1 redundancy, available in AC or DC configuration.
