This professionally tested, refurbished Arista DCS-7050SX-64-R is a high-density, low-latency 10/40GbE data center switch from Arista's 7050SX Series. The unit ships reset to factory defaults and has passed full port-by-port diagnostics, power-on testing, and firmware verification through WhaleyComm's ISO 9001-certified process. Configured with rear-to-front (back-to-front) airflow and dual hot-swap 500W AC power supplies, the DCS-7050SX-64-R is purpose-built for hot-aisle/cold-aisle data center rack deployments.Built on Broadcom Trident II silicon, this 1RU fixed-configuration switch delivers 48 x 10GbE SFP+ ports and 4 x 40GbE QSFP+ uplinks with a total switching capacity of 1.28 Tbps and a forwarding rate of 960 Mpps. Cut-through latency is as low as 550 nanoseconds, making it highly effective in latency-sensitive compute and storage environments. The switch supports a MAC address table of up to 288,000 entries, 12 MB of shared packet buffer with Dynamic Buffer Allocation, and advanced features including VXLAN, MLAG, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VRRP, PIM, and IPv6. Management is handled through Arista EOS (Extensible Operating System) via CLI, eAPI, NETCONF, gNMI, OpenConfig, sFlow, LANZ, and CloudVision integration for full network automation and streaming telemetry.
