This refurbished Cisco C9300L-48P-4X-E is a 1RU fixed-uplink enterprise access switch from the Catalyst 9300L series, professionally tested and reset to factory defaults before shipment. The unit delivers 48 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ downlink ports paired with four fixed 10G SFP+ uplinks, running Cisco IOS XE with the Network Essentials license. It is part of Cisco's flagship stackable enterprise access platform and is built on the UADP 2.0 ASIC for programmable, wire-speed forwarding across both IPv4 and IPv6.The C9300L-48P-4X-E provides a switching capacity of 176 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 130.95 Mpps, scaling to 496 Gbps and 369.05 Mpps in a full eight-switch StackWise-320 stack. No. The C9300L-48P-4X-E includes two rear-panel StackWise-320 connectors, but stacking requires the separately ordered C9300L-STACK-KIT, which includes two stack adapters and a 0.5m stacking cable. Optional 1m and 3m cable lengths are also available. Up to eight C9300L switches can be stacked for a combined 320 Gbps of stacking bandwidth.
The two models share identical hardware — 48 PoE+ ports, four fixed 10G SFP+ uplinks, and the same performance specs. The difference is the software license: the -E suffix indicates Network Essentials, which includes OSPF, EIGRP Stub, and encrypted traffic analytics, while the -A suffix indicates Network Advantage, which adds full BGP, MPLS, VRF, and SD-Access fabric capabilities.
No. Cisco's fixed-uplink C9300L models can only be stacked with other C9300L SKUs. Stacking the C9300L with modular-uplink C9300 or C9300X models, or with legacy Catalyst 3850 and 3650 switches, is not supported by Cisco.
